The Mason Symphony Orchestra Presents

Disney and Pixar’s Coco in Concert Live to Film

Concert features composer Michael Giacchino’s score performed Live-to Picture Conducted by Dr. Lucy Ginther on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at the Kings Island Theater.

The Mason Symphony Orchestra will present Disney and Pixar’s Coco in Concert Live to Film, featuring Coco’s musical score by Oscar® and GRAMMY®-winning composer Michael Giacchino performed live along to the film. The concert will be led by conductor Dr. Lucy Ginther. Tickets are available at www.masonsymphonyorchestra.org .

Along with Giacchino’s original score, Coco features the hit song “Remember Me” by Oscar®-winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus additional songs co-written by composer Germaine Franco and co-director and screenwriter Adrian Molina. The film won Academy Awards® for Animated Feature, as well as Original Song for “Remember Me.” It was directed by Lee Unkrich (Toy Story 3), co-directed by Adrian Molina (story artist Monsters University) and produced by Darla K. Anderson (Toy Story 3).

Coco tells the story of Miguel (voiced by Anthony Gonzalez), a young boy who dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (Benjamin Bratt), despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music. Following a mysterious chain of events and desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead. Along the way, he meets a charming trickster named Héctor (Gael García Bernal) and together they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.
