Joshua Chertock is senior at Bishop Fenwick High School and began playing piano 11 years ago. Joshua has had several teachers, most notably including Tom White and his current teacher, Dr. Jackson Leung. 

Joshua has developed as a musician in many ways. He has attended Brevard Music Center’s summer music festival for three years and is returning this summer. He played his first hour-long solo recital this past June. He organized a benefit concert for his Eagle Scout project. He plans to attend CCM next year and more!

Joshua has immersed himself in other activities and interests as well. He is an active member of his school's theater program, is awaiting his board of review to become an Eagle Scout, and has a love of fitness. He intends to study piano and aerospace engineering after graduation. 

Though he has many passions, music is nonetheless his favorite way to share God’s glory with other people.
