2026 Student Scholarship Competition
High School musicians, your chance to play with a professional Symphony Orchestra is coming up! The Mason Symphony Orchestra’s annual Student Scholarship Competition will begin accepting applications on January 15, 2026.
There are three categories for instrumentalists and one for vocalists. All applications and submissions will be due by February 1, 2026. The overall winner will receive a $500.00 scholarship and will be featured as a soloist with the Mason Symphony Orchestra during its Masterworks Concert in April! Finalists in each category will receive a Scholarship prize of $150.00.

Brief Update to Small Business Impact Award
Dr. Lucy Ginther and the Mason Symphony Orchestra were honored during the Heritage Festival’s Small Business Community Impact Award presentation on Saturday. We were indeed grateful to be considered as a finalist for this prestigious award. Mayor Diana Nelson recognized the Orchestra for its ongoing contributions and commitment to the Mason community. Thank you to all for believing in, encouraging, and supporting us!

We are excited to showcase the orchestra in our upcoming season! Please mark your calendars and join us for our opening concert on Sunday, December 7, 2025! The Mason Christmas Festival Concert will begin at 5:00 pm at the beautiful Manor House in Mason. We will be celebrating all things Christmas, and it will include performances by several special guests!
